Dr. Yaman Walid qualified as a dentist from the University of Manchester dental school in 2005, after which he completed a year of vocational training in North Wales. After a series of hospital posts in oral surgery and restorative dentistry in the Yorkshire region, he was awarded Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.

Dr. Walid completed a four-year training programme at Guy’s Hospital specializing in Prosthodontics, after which he was awarded a certificate of completion of specialist training (CCST) in Prosthodontics and included on the General Dental Council’s specialist list in Prosthodontics.

In 2015 He was awarded a Membership in Prosthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, along with a Masters in Clinical in Dentistry (Prosthodontics) from King’s College London. The specialty of Prosthodontics encompasses all aspects of aesthetic and implant dentistry as well as crowns, bridges, and dentures. It also deals with all aspects of failing dentistry. With his specialist knowledge and expertise, Dr. Walid will aim to restore your teeth and smile with natural looking and long-lasting restorations using modern materials and up to date techniques. Dr. Walid has a passion for dental education and held a position as a Clinical Teacher in Restorative Dentistry at the Leeds dental institute looking after dental students in training. He is also one of a select few dentists in the London deanery who are responsible for training newly qualified dentists in their first year after graduation. He holds a post-graduate certificate in health research, enabling him to provide the best possible treatment options for his patients, based on sound scientific evidence. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Walid enjoys playing football and is a talented cook; otherwise, he is busy looking after his young family.
